As I get older and continue on in my endeavors, I’m always shocked whenever I come across people that still think negatively. I for one don’t get the point of thinking negatively. For one it takes up a lot of energy, and two, why bother. I mean for all of the energy and thoughts that one person puts into thinking negatively, they could just as easily be using all of that energy thinking positively instead.
I have no patience. Well actually I have some patience, but for the most part, ignorant and stupid people annoy me, and I mean the blatant ignorance. Like the asshole at the grocery store who decides to get in the 20 items or less lane with 50 items and then proceeds to argue with the cashier when they won’t cash them out, thus holding up the entire line. That kind of blatant ignorance and self-entitlement annoys me. But this article has a good point, letting go of impatience can be quite healthy. I’m going to have to try it.
When I moved to Florida, I decided to re-create myself. But the trick to it, was that I wasn’t necessarily recreating myself, it was more like I decided that I was going to be the strong woman I wanted to be. Instead of being walked all over, or not having a better relationship with God, or not trusting in myself, I decided to become the women I always wanted to be.
